Through cultural intelligence, consumer insight, and foresight, I help organizations anticipate change, uncover opportunity, and build products, experiences, and brands that resonate.
I am a Paris-based cultural strategist and sociologist helping organizations understand how changing values, aspirations, identities, and everyday behaviors reshape consumer culture, markets, and growth.
My work combines academic rigor, experimental curiosity, and strategic pragmatism. Over the past decade I have worked across luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, mobility, technology, and consumer goods - translating cultural understanding into strategic direction, innovation opportunities, and meaningful business decisions.
Alongside consulting, I develop independent research initiatives, publications, and cultural platforms tracking emerging ideas before they reach the mainstream. Through Fashion Forward, I brought together designers, academics, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to explore how cultural change reshapes industries and everyday life. I continue to write, publish, and speak on luxury, material culture, consumer behavior, and social change.
I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology focused on luxury and consumer culture, with graduate studies in branding and communications. Having lived, studied, and worked across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, I bring a genuinely global lens to how culture shapes consumption, aspiration, and belonging.
Experience Across
What I Do
Cultural Intelligence
Understanding emerging shifts in values, identity, aspiration, and behavior globally.
Questions I help organizations answer:
As status, gender, and lifestyle identities fragment, which consumer segments are emerging - and what does that mean for product and portfolio strategy?
As communities become more digital and transient, how do shared rituals and belonging need to be redesigned?
Innovation & Growth
Identifying future opportunities, new categories, and unmet needs.
Questions I help organizations answer:
As AI and personalization reshape intimacy and service, what new retail experiences and loyalty models become possible?
As optimization culture intensifies, which forms of slowness, indulgence, and imperfection are becoming the new growth opportunity?
Brand & Positioning
Building products; services, communications and ecosystems people want to belong to.
Questions I help organizations answer:
As luxury codes blur and dupes proliferate, what now signals genuine value - and how do you build positioning and storytelling around it?
As trust erodes, which collaborations, influencers, and cultural adjacencies still feel credible - and why?
-
Sociology helps identify the status systems, identity shifts, and social tensions driving consumer change before they become visible in market data.
-
Anthropology reveals how products, rituals, and behaviors fit into everyday life, exposing the gap between what people say and how they actually live.
-
Material culture explores how objects shape identity, aspiration, memory, and belonging, revealing how products participate in social life beyond utility.
-
Semiotics helps identify the cultural meanings embedded in products, communications, and aesthetics, sensorial experiences revealing why some signals resonate more than others.
-
Design research connects cultural understanding to product and experience development, uncovering unmet needs, emerging behaviors, and opportunities for innovation grounded in people's lived realities.
-
Luxury and fashion studies provide a framework for understanding how desire is socially produced, how taste becomes a marker of distinction, and how brands, products, and aesthetics acquire symbolic value within culture.
